Three podcasts to download now | Life

19th July 2017 by naffy

Tony Robbins As I am officially a London commuter it is inevitable my list of podcasts has grown. Not a day goes by where I do not listen to one. It has gotten to the point where I have to limit myself from finding new ones so I can keep up. I have spoken about a few of my faves here but I thought I would share with you another three podcasts to download now.

The High Low Podcast

I started The High Low podcast on a recommendation from a friend at work. I only discovered this a few days ago yet I am already on episode 6. The podcast is hosted by the absolute babes Dolly Alderton and Pandora Skyes. The premise of their podcast is that they talk about everything from Theresa May to Love Island. Sali Hughes once said ‘A woman can paint her nails while watching question time’ The idea that a woman can be interested in both popular culture and the news. This podcast epitomises this wholeheartedly.

Don’t Salt My Game with Laura Thomas

As someone who has previously struggled with food, I have a very big interest in health and nutrition which is why how I stumbled across Laura Thomas and her podcast, Don’t Salt My Game. Laura is a qualified nutritionist and wellness advocate. The reason I enjoy this podcast is that not only is it full of useful information – she gets rid of any myths and miss understandings we have of the health world but in a very fun and engaging way. I am actually planning to see her live at the POdcast Festival which will be a treat.

Crash On My Couch

When I first heard Crash on my couch, I did not know what to expect. The hosts Arden Rose and Will Derbyshire are so unpredictable and have a variety of interest that it can be hard to see what the podcast will entail. This is one to listen to on the way home from work when you are in need of a laugh and want to unwind. They talk about everything from delicate issues to fun issues without much of a filter. Don’t be fooled, behind the laughter and comedic nature, the podcast actually has useful advice and facts for its listeners.

And there you have it, three podcasts you need to download before you head off on your next journey. Go on, you know you want too.

I’m always on the hunt for a new podcast as I have quite a long commute from work. I will definitely give these a download.
