Kylie Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette

The January Face

Max Factor False Lash Effect Epic mascara Kylie Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette Nafisah Atcha How is it the last Monday of January? That is insane. As the month is coming to a close, I thought I would share some of the pieces I have been putting on my face and fallen in love with. Welcome to the segment I call, The January Face.

For the base, I first prime my face using the No7 Radiance Primer to add some brightness to the face on the dark winter mornings.

When it comes to foundation,I am all about the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation at the moment. I will say this is slightly heavier coverage than I would like for a day to day basis but it works and I have been enjoying it a lot this month.

Adding some bronze to the skin I use the NARS Palloma all over the face. I then go in with the Zoeva Nude Spectrum palette. There is a beautiful shade which I used on my cheeks to help add a little bit of a glow.

On days when I am wanting highlighter I have been wearing the urban decay sin highlighter. The combination with the Zoeva Palettes helps create this sun kissed glow and that is my face make up all done.

For the lids, I have been in love with the Kylie Cosmetics The Burgundy Palette. I do change up the shadows I use from the palette but for the most part of January I have been leaning towards both Naked and Penny blended out together they create a stunning day time winter eye look.

To finish the eyes, for the most part I stared away from eye liner, mainly because I wanted the shadow to stand out but also because I was in a rush in the mornings to this was a step I was able to skip when needed, instead what I did, is apply lashings of the new Max Factor Epic False Lash Effect Mascara to give my eyes a bit of a wow factor.

Finishing on the lips, this is where I change it up depending on the day. I am being slightly more mindful than I would be about my lip choices as I have started work at a new place BUT  for the most part I have fallen in love with the combination of the NYX Mahogany lip liner and MAC Whirl lipstick.

And that is pretty much what has been on my face for most of January. What is your January face made out off? let me know in the comments below.

I enjoyed your beauty review of the January face…I mostly focused on skincare due to skin and eye problems but I have been doing more nude pink looks for February!
