After falling in love with Cruella, I knew I needed more NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in my collection. After many swatches, I decided on the shade Train Bleu. I first spotted it on Helen’s blog and fell in love.
Train Bleu is very deep, almost black purple shade. Something I have never tried before so was quite nervous about giving it a go. I shouldn’t have been though. The moment I tried it on, I fell in love. I paired it with a neutral gold eye to balance things out.
I adore the formula of this lip pencil. It glided on easy and the velvet matte formula means it doesn’t slip and lasts on your lips all day. Something you need with a lip as bold as this. You can drink a cup of tea and have a little snack without worrying this will come off your lips which adds to it’s beauty.
Personally, I would love to wear it on a regular basis but I know this will be one lip pencil I won’t be able to use for work. Sometimes, it is nice to have those kind of shades as it makes it even more special when you do wear them.
The one thing I love about make up? Is that you can be creative and this lip pencil definitely allowed me to do that. When I bought it I was totally out of my comfort zone but I am really glad I did.
