Gold Make Up
Being a Neutral girl, when it comes to eye shadow I have worn my fair share of gold shadows and seeing as it is the season to wear a nice full on glitter golden eye, I thought I would share my top picks with you for Festive Gold Eyes.

My first go to shadow when I want a impact with a wash of gold shadow is the Urban Decay Shade in Half Baked. I have this courtesy of the Urban Decay Naked Two Palette, but you can buy this separately. This is hands down the most beautiful shade of Gold I have come across. I have mentioned this numerous times on the blog over the years but it always worth mentioning. The formula is perfect and long lasting which is what you need on a special occasion.

Another go to favourite of mine is the Loreal Mono shadow in the shade Gold Mania. If you are on a budget or do not want to spend too much money on eye shadow this is the gold for you. Currently part of an offer in boots this retails for under £6 but performs just as well as my Stila and Urban Decay Shadows. Gold Mania is a true gold which blends lovely on the lids and immensely pigmented.

If you know my love for the Stila in the light palette, you will know my love for it. Most people mention the shade Kitten which is a nice champagne shade. Today though, I wanted to mention Gilded Gold and Bliss.

Gilded Gold is a stunning buttery wash of golden gold and Bliss is a beautiful deep gold. They work on their own as a wash of colour on the lid but also as a team. I use bliss on the lid, taking it in to the crease with Gilded Gold in the centre of the lid to brighten the look up.

If you love a good cream shadow, the latest one in my collection comes from Max Factor and it is the Excess Shimmer in Bronze. Max Factor actually have a few new pieces I want to try but this is a beautiful bronze shade. It has a wet mousse like texture which sets nicely. It can be a bit fidgety to apply and you have to work fast with this if you want to blend it out but it looks beautiful on the lids.

I hope this has given you some inspiration for eye looks over the holidays. Let me know what eye look you will be wearing.

I really like Max Factor Bronze :) Will have to check out the L'Oreal eyeshadow, the shade looks gorgeous and I've never tried anything from that line :)

Have a great festive break, lovely xx
