Do you ever walk into a bookshop and instantly find a list f books you need to add to your reading list? Me too, which is why I thought this year, I would get a jump start and make a list of all the books which I am keeping an out for in 2018.

You all know I love the podcast The High Low, so it should not come as a surprise to learn, I am a huge fan of Dolly and her writing. When I heard she was releasing a book, I knew I had to have it. The F Word by Lily Pebbles – Release Date – 8th March 2018
I have always been a fan of Lily and one of the things I admired her for was the closeness she maintains with her closest friends. It is truly wonderful to see. Female friendships in particular interest me so I am excited to hear Lily’s take on it in. If the trailer is anything to go by I already know I will love it.
The Financial Diet by Chelsea Feagan – Release Date 2nd January 2018
Money, in particular how it plays a part in our adult lives is something I wish I learned about at a younger age. I will admit, as amazing as they are, my parents are not the best when it comes to finances which makes it hard to learn the ropes and the Financial Diet is one of the places I turn too when I have some questions. Chelsea has a way of making money easy to understand and I cannot wait to see what hidden gems of advice are in her book.
The Multi-Hypen Method – By Emma Gannon – Release Date 17th May 2018
I always find Emma’s conversation surrounding the world of work – in particular flexible working and the slashy generation interesting. It was one of the first places I heard it being discussed in such a frank way. I am also a huge fan of her writing style and The Multi-Hypen Method fuses them together.
Love, Hate and Other Filters by Samira Ahmed – Release Date 16th January 2018
After reading The Good Immigrant and Change, I have made it a mission of mine to read more books written by women of colour. Something I can resonate with.

I was actually provided a proof copy of this by the lovely people at Osbourne Publishing at the Holly Bourne it only happens in the movie event. I’ve been waiting to read this closer to the release date and cannot wait to find out more about it. I have never read anything written by this author before which I am excited about.
How Do You Like Me Now by Holly Bourne – 14th June 2018
You all know I am a little bit of a fan girl when it comes to Holly Bourne and her writing. 2018 sees her release her first Adult Fiction and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Holly has a wonderful way of words and developing characters which resonate with you so I am looking forward to seeing her bring this to the world of adult literature.
Girl Positive by Tatiana Fraser and Caia Hagel – Yesterday!!!
While we are living in testing times at the times, one of the things I am thankful for is the voice women have found for themselves. It gives me hope for the younger generation of women making their way in the world. Girl Positive explores the shift in women getting their voices heard and I am here for it.
Not Perfect – Elizabeth LaBan – 1st February 2018
I realise this list lacks fiction books and that is mainly because the books I like to read will vary depending on my mood so I like to make implies purchases. One that has caught my eyes is Not Perfect. It appears to be 90210 esque which I find really interesting. I have not read any thing by Elizabeth before I am excited to give her words a go.
Aside from these, there are plenty of other books I have on my wishlist – some are already out and I just need to get around to purchasing but I have also spied a couple of others which didn’t quite make this list.
Which books are you looking forward to reading this year? Are there any I have missed and need to pick up ?
