IMG_5893 IMG_5896 Primark Haul Nafisah Atcha Nafisah Incase you have missed the craze of the internet, Primark have launched their own beauty line. At first, I will admit, I was a bit sceptical but the moment I came across a couple of pieces, I was hooked and ended up picking up a few new in Primark beauty pieces.

The first thing which caught my eye was the PS Beauty Face Palette. The palette includes a bronzer, highlighter, three eyeshadows – One stunning gold shade a deep purple shade and a light shimmery pink shade and two matte lip colours.

Normally, I am not someone who falls in love with a face palette but I was very impressed with the quality of the powders that come in the PS Beauty Face Palette. The bronzer is shimmery so works to gives you a healthy summery glow and the eyeshadows blended very easily to create a nice look on the eye. For £6 you really cannot go wrong.

One thing I will say about the palette, is there is a lot of fallout more than normal but if you can get past that the way it applies to the face is a dream.

The next thing to catch my eye was a mascara. I was actually on the lookout for a new mascara and Primark have a good selection depending on what you are looking for. I opted for the False Lash Effect Mascara which aims to lengthen, thicken and voluminse your lashes. I am not sure if this picture is doing it justice but it really did make a difference to my lashes and for £2.50 is a wonder mascara.

Of course I ended finding the lip products (I mean this is me we are talking about) and came across the . I picked up the lip liner and liquid lipstick in this deep purple shade. Unfortunately, out of everything I tried from the Primark beauty range, they were the products I was not happy with. The lip liner crumbled slightly and when I went to sharpen it, I was sharpening it for a while which means I would run through it fairly quickly if I used it regularly.

The liquid lipstick as it was a bold colour did not apply as well as I was hoping for. I had to apply a few coats to get an even application on the lips and when I did it would cling to some of the dry patches on my lips.

So as with any range, there are some hits and misses but for the price and over all quality of the hits I have found so far from the Primark Beauty range are impressive and I will be keeping an eye out for more. (If you want to see my first impressions of everything I purchased you can see it in this weeks video)
