Sometimes it is nice to step away from harsh reds and pinks on your face and with all the pink fluttering around this month so for this weeks Make Up Monday I wanted to share with you a Soft Pink Look.
On the base it is the usual concoction on my face is the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I used my NARS One Shocking Moment Palette and reached out for the bronzer in Laguna for added warmth and depth on the face.
Moving on to the cheeks, I kept things simple by using my favourite blush from this palette. Dolce Vita is a nice rose pink with a little hint of shimmer adding to the glow on your cheeks. I adore this blush on Olive completions because it gives the right amount of flush to your cheeks.
I like a simple gold eye with some glitter to go with the pink lips. I opted for the Tanya Burr Hollywood Palette using the shade bookworm for dimension on the lids. I then applied the light shimmery gold shade Gold Coin just in the centre of the lids and to finish it off I packed on the shade Enchantment to add some glitter.
To finish my eye look I used the Soap and Glory Super cat liner and for mascara, I am currently testing out the new Maybelline Push Up Mascara. I have a review on this heading your way soon but so far I am enjoying it and the way my lashes look. It is perfect for during the day to add some drama to the lashes.
The star of the show is this new combination I recently discovered. I am going to wearing it for a while. It is the Kiko Creamy Colour Lip Liner I recently picked up in the shade 315 which is a pink nude Kylie Jenner-esque shade and the NYX Liquid Suede Cream in the shade Soft Spoken. The brown tone in this helps to create the perfect work appropriate nineties lip.
I did not plan out this look in too much depth before trying it out but I am really happy with the outcome. It is great for a lunch or a special occasion where you want to look put together but not like you put in too much of an effort.
