It has been a while since I tried a new foundation so after the EX1 Cosmetics ran I was on the look out for something completely new. I had herd a lot about the Loreal Cushion Foundation and after falling in love with the bronzer from the collection I was excited to give this a go.
I grabbed the Loreal Cushion Foundation in the shade six. I will say it took me a while to find my shade as I didn’t feel there was one that matched perfectly. I was torn between six and nine but decided on six. If you in between shades I found a lighter foundation is easier to work with compared to a foundation that is darker to your skin tone.
After finding the foundation shade, the rest of the experience was a dream. It is a lightweight foundation which is easily buildable to medium coverage. For a lightweight water like feel foundation this does a great job at making my skin feel alive and evening out the redness in my skin.
Unlike traditional foundations this has a more fluid like texture to it when I applied it to the face which I actually enjoyed. The natural glow finish is perfect for this time of year mimicking flawless skin on the face which is what I look for in a foundation.
The beauty of cushion foundation is how well it sits under the other make up on my face. The bronzer, the highlighter, all of it sat beautifully on the skin thanks to the finish it gives.
The cushion foundation comes in this silver and purple compact which has a big mirror I love in it. I do not top up foundation throughout the day but this is handy to use when you want to apply lipstick during the day.
If you have yet to get in to the cushion foundation craze, the Loral Cushion Foundation is a good place to start. You can apply it using your foundation brush or a beauty blender both give you a stunning glory finish. At £14.99 this was a great drugstore find (if I do say so myself)
Have you tried the Loreal Cushion Foundation? if you have, let me know what you think.
