The London water is nothing but harsh so to counteract that, I started looking into deep conditioners and came across the HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner. I had herd about HASK and their products but yet to give them a try so after hearing about the Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner I was excited to give it a go.
Free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colours and full of monoi coconut oil I knew it would be extremely nourishing and hydrating on the hair.
The first thing which struck me was that I would need to keep it on for 10 minutes which I have to admit, I cannot actually be sure I did. In hindsight if you are not use using a mask like this I would set a timer so you know how long you actually have it on for but even if you have it on five minutes I think you would notice some difference in the feeling of your hair.
I applied it predominantly on the bottoms on my hair and then ran the excess through the rest of the hair and then clip it up. Once I have rinsed it out I instantly felt my hair was soft and not as dry as it was a few weeks ago.
Once my hair was dry I found it gave some texture to the hair and it looked healthy. If you are someone who has frizzy hair, this is definitely one conditioner which will help combat this without weighing it down as it is rather lightweight.
The packet looks small but because it is quite thick and a little goes along way if you are short hair you can get a few good uses from it and if you have longer hair you will get at least a couple, potentially three uses from the packet.
After giving this ago, I went on to look into the brand and found their do a variety of these deep conditioners. The harsh water has meant I have lost a bit of hair which is why I think I am going to give the Keratin Protein smoothing deep conditioner which does everything the Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner with the added protection against breakage.
It is a bit hard to get hold of Hask in the UK but you can grab them on superdrug online for £2.99 which is nice because it as an high end luxury feel to it. I genuinely do not like spending too much on my hair care but you get your moneys worth with this.
