Based near Victoria Station Timmy Greens is part of the Daisy Green chain where you can grab anything from Breakfast to Dinner but is renowned for its brunch.
When I arrived it was quite late (Around 1pm) so the place was already packed but I was able to find a spot and was greeted by a lovely lady who cleaned up the table for us and handed me a menu.
On the menu, they have everything from Pancakes to eggs and avocado but I decided to try something different and opted for the Shakshuka. It was actually my first ever Shakshuka in a restaurant and I have to say it was delicious. It was full of flavour and incredibly filling.
For a London brunch, it was a good sized dish too. Not too small and not too big that it was over powering. The Shakshuka comes with charcoal bread – you can ask for regular bread if you prefer but I wanted to try it and you know what it was actually ok. It just tasted like regular bread which I loved.
The whole place is Instagram-able and during the summer has an alfresco dining area which is perfect on a hot sunny day.
Drink wise, there is a lot to choose from including vegan milkshakes. I am lactose intolerant and they were able to offer Almond Milk which made me happy. Most places if they have a dairy alternative usually only have Soya so this was a welcomed touch to my brunch.
Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe of Timmy Greens. Some of the staff were slightly rushed off their feet but I think that just goes to show much of a hot place it is to grab brunch if you’re walking through central London.
Have you been Brunching at Timmy Greens? where do you think I should try next?
