Vegan Snacks Review

Niomi Smart The Aprils Sourced Box is bitter sweet. It is one of my favourite boxes full of delicious snacks but it also my last one. Before I say goodbye to the subscription service, I wanted to share with you everything you can get if you purchase a Sourced Box.

Banana and Strawberry Snack – Nothing But

I had tried another of the Nothing But Freezed snacks before but it was missing something. This one however the Strawberry and Banana one was delicious! If you like Strawberry and Banana you will enjoy this. It is just a packet of freeze dried Strawberries and Banana. If I come across this in a store and needed something to eat, I would consider this.

Garlic and Herb flaxseedCrips – Whitworths

Whitworth reminds me of baking. They do have a range of dried fruits ect however the fruit generally contains preservatives in them so I tend to stay away from them if I can. This packet of Flaxseed Crips however is as unprocessed as you can and is delicious. This really does taste like crips without mimicking crips which I love. The Garlic and Herb flavour makes it tastes like little bits of pizza. I will definitely be looking out for these in the shops and see what other flavours are in stock.

Organic Coconut Milk Raw Chocolate – Enjoy

A girl needs her chocolate. If there is one thing I can count on when I open my Sourced Box is finding a good healthy alternative to chocolate. Made with whole ingredients, Enjoy is one of the loveliest vegan chocolate I can come across. The Coconut Milk one came in the box but they have a huge range of flavours I want to check out.

Apple and Strawberry Fast Fruit Snack – Crushed

Now hear me out. I know this looks like a childs snack but this was so delicious! I literally drank this all in one go. The Crushed pouches are perfect for the spring and summer when you are on the go. You could probably also freeze this in a popsicle pot to make healthy ice pops.

Banana Roll – The Beginnings

You would have herd me jabber on about the Beginnings and their delicious biscuits. before but I have never tried anything else from them. Their Banana Rolls are delicious mixed with a little bit cacao this is delicious. It was missing something though which I could not put my finger on. I enjoyed it but I prefer the Biscuits.

Cacao Energy Bar – Aduna

Aduna is one of my favourite brands, their Baobab bar is my absolute favourite. The Cacao Bar is delicious but nowhere near enough sweet as I would like it to be. I wish I warmed it up so I could have it as a proper brownie with a cup of tea. Would I purchase it again? probably but I would mainly pickup the Baobab bar first.

Ginger Teatox – Creative Nature

Like Aduna, I actually have tried the Creative Nature Bars before. The Ginger Teatox was a new one to me. It was lovely but again I probably would not pick it up if there were other options.

Cacao, Date and Coconut Flapjack – The Living Food Kitchen

Since being Dairy Free and turning to a more plant based lifestyle I have found some great alternatives to some of my favourites, biscuits, cakes, chocolate but have yet to find a good flapjack, until now. Let me tell you this hits it on the nail on the head.

Moroccan Mint  & Svelte For Body – We love Tea

Every Sourced Box comes with some form of tea. This time around were two teas from the We Love Tea Company. I have yet to try these but I have herd some great things about this brand so I am excited to give them a go.

And there you have it that is everything from the April Sourced Box. Unfortunately, I have to say, this is my last ever Sourced box. I have actually been a member for the past year and it has been an amazing journey. Sourced Box has helped me tackle food issues while introducing me to some great brands. If you have to grab one yourself, there is still time to grab next months box before it goes out. Trust me, you will not regret it. It was life changing year of  wonderful year of healthy snacks.

I’ve heard of this subscription service before, but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for this review! What made you decide to no longer subscribe?
