If you know me, you will know I am a huge fan of the YSL Black Opium scent. I cannot go past a stand without having a sniff at the tester so I was very excited to come across the YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche Eue De Parfum.
YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche* is what I would describe as an oriental scent. Which means it as has a woody but with a floral undertone to it.
Nuit Blanche is a lighter version of the Original Black Opium making it perfect for the warmer months but in all honesty, it is a scent which I would personally wear all year around.
It has a sexy under layer to it which I think is the coffee notes within the perfume. These notes add a little bit of sexiness to the scent which means I would save for the evenings or a special occasion rather than a perfume I would personally wear to work.
As it is a Eue De Parfum, the scent is very powerful and it something you will smell for hours to come. It is also a scent which ages well – by that I mean you like it the more it lingers on the body which is only a good thing.
I cannot mention this perfume without mentioning the beautiful bottle. I mean it really speaks for itself, doesn’t it? I will admit I am a sucker for a stunning perfume bottle and you cannot get more beautiful than this glittery pink and grey bottle. It compliments the tone of the perfume incredibly well. The grey hints at the sexy notes of the scent where the pink reflects the flirty floral musk tones within the perfume. It is definitely a bottle I will be keeping on my dresser even when it is done.
The 30ml bottle retails for around £50.00 depending on where you purchase it from. I know that sounds like a lot for a small bottle of perfume BUT a little spritz goes a long way which means it will last you a good few months. It is small enough and light enough to place in your handbag but if you are anything like me, you will only need to spray it once before leaving the house.
Do I like the YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche* compared to the original? It is a tough call as the original has a special place in my heart.
