Urban Decay has to be up there with one of my favourite high-end beauty brands and I am always interested in the new things they release, which is why I was excited to give the new Urban Decay Troublemaker mascara* a go.
The first thing I want to say is the packaging on this mascara is absolutely beautiful. It is a dual chrome tube which looks fun with an air of luxury. I also prefer slightly dry formulas and look for volume, above length with my mascara. I can also tell straight away if I like the mascara or not so this little tube did have a lot to live up too.
I have to admit when I first opened it, I was slightly disappointed. The brush was a little bit more flimsy than I would have liked. The want was little too bendy for my liking and the bristles are a bit too far apart and slightly too small to provide thick voluminous, slightly faux falsies I aim for.
However on a happier note, the more I used it, the more I realised it would be a great mascara for someone who was only after small length and was in the market for a daytime mascara. It gives your lashes a nice small lift without being in your face or being too extravagant.
Yes, I do think, there are better mascara to give you cleaner, longer lashes, however, mascara is very subjective so if that is the type of mascara you tend to go for, it is definitely an option.
Personally, I would try the Urban Decay Perversion mascara as I think that is more up my ally. Both mascara’s cost £19.50 – which is not a bad price for a high-end mascara.
Urban Decay is still one of my go to brands and you can pick up some of my faves on Look Fantastic. Have you tried the new Urban Decay Troublemaker*? Let me know what you think.
