When somebody utters the words Charlotte Tilbury you immediately think glitz, glamour, sophistication and that is exactly what is personified in her first flagship store.
The Charlotte Tilbury Boudoir as it has been dubbed is based in Covent Garden, London. I had herd a lot about the store so as I was in the city, I decided to take a trip and have a look.
As it is right next to the station you really cannot miss it. From the moment you walk in you feel as though you are entering a make up haven. You are greeted by not one but two security guards who are very friendly as well as a friendly make up artist who asks if you have any questions.
All of Charlottes Products are placed around the floor in stunning stands. My favourite stand was the special Christmas gift section which is perfect for the festive season. The christmas collection is full of adorable minitures as well as the 12 days of Christmas which when I took a look as to what you can expect, is very impressive for the price.
The store has the feel of a place you would expect to be in heart of the upper east side in New York. Full of velvet, glamour similar to a place you would imagine Marilyn Monroe would get ready during the heart of her career.
The store has two floors, the second floor is for people who wish to book an appointment with one of Charlotte’s Make up Artists. Again this section of the store is clean cut, glamour, feathers and velvet. Each of the artists I met in the store were friendly and easy to approach.
If you are looking for a make up gift, booking an appointment at the Charlotte Tilbury store where they can receive a consultation and make over would be a great gift they would cherish.
