Plances to eat in central London Vegan places to eat in London Tibits London Review Tibits London The one thing I love about London is exploring new places to eat and drink. Last weekend I paid a visit to Tibits – a delightful vegetarian and vegan restaurant in the middle of central London.

I heard about this place while researching some veggie friendly places to eat and I was immediately intrigued. Tibits is a buffet based restaurant where you pay based on the weight of your plate. You can choose from special salads, dhals and delicious falafels. There are at least 13 dishes you can load on your place. I ended up going around the table twice before deciding on what to go for.

In the end I opted for falafels, a nice tangy dip, some green bean stir-fry, Indian Dhal and a Parsnip and Barley salad and all of it was delicious.

Tibits do have cakes and treats you can purchase on their own but the best part for me personally, is that you can choose multiple deserts which can you can pay by the weight. I couldn’t decide between the sticky toffee pudding and the mocha chocolate cake and I have to say I fell in love with the sticky toffee pudding and it will be a repeat offender when I visit the place again.

The vibe in Tbits is perfect for lunchtime and a great evening meal. It is not too fancy that it makes you feel uncomfortable but fancy enough to feel special. It is a great option for a birthday meal with friends or a nice afternoon lunch catching up with a friend you haven’t seen in months.

Tibits caters for all dietary restrictions – aside from being vegetarian and vegan-friendly, it also has a lot of dairy-free and gluten-free options. I am not 100% Vegan but I am lactose intolerant and this was the perfect place to grab some delicious food.

I will definitely be going back to Tibits for round two soon! I mean my second portion Sticky Toffee Pudding and the falafels are honestly to die for.
