Feed Me Vegan By Lucy Watson
I follow Lucy Watson on social media and I love that she shows the fun side of food. All of recipes in Feed Me Vegan are easy to follow, full of colour and flavour. It is a good book to have around when I have friends or family over for dinner.
Thug Kitchen By Thug Kitchen
On the surface, this will be the most hilarious cookbook you will read but underneath that there are some great recipes I am dying to try. It has everything from delicious tacos to curries and snacks.
The New Vegan By Aine Carlin
The New Vegan is the first plant based book I have picked up and I recommend it to everyone. I love Aine approachable style to food and her writing makes the whole book a joy to read, The pictures look beautiful. The book is the reason why I fell in love with Avocado Mousse, Date Caramel and Chickpea sandwiches. She has a new book coming out in April, which I cannot wait to get my hands on.
All three share tips and tricks such as cupboard stables and how to look after yourself nutritionally which I personally enjoyed and found incredibly useful. All three use ingredients you probably already have or can get at your local supermarket without putting a strain on your budget too.
The thing I love about all of these books is that you don’t have to be plant based to enjoy them. Even if you are vegetarian or a meat eater looking to incorporate more meat free meals in to your diet, you will love them.
