Three Vegan Beauty Brands To Try

2nd January 2018 by naffy

The Body Shop Spiced Apple Tin Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation Before I begin, I should say, I am not 100% vegan, as Zanna Van Dijk says, I am not perfect but I make the best choices I can and that includes my beauty choices. I know many of you will be considering Veganuary this month so I thought I would share three Vegan beauty brands, I know and love.

Urban Decay

It is no secret that I love Urban Decay. I frequently share some of my favourites from them so I was excited to learn they were cruelty free which makes me incredibly happy. At the moment of me writing this, they have 50% off which makes it a great time to try a couple of their items. This is not a regular sale they do so it is really now or never.

TOP PICKS – Urban Decay After Glow Highlighters, Urban Decay Naked Two Palette, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Liners.

Stila Cosmetics

Up until recently Stila cosmetics said they do not test on animals themselves, however, their products were distributed in China which meant they were unable to be cruelty free which broke my heart as their Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick was among my top 5 beauty products of all time. So I was excited to learn a few months ago, Stila released a statement advising they no longer sell products in China, allowing them to be completely free from testing on animals, making them cruelty free.

The Body Shop

I couldn’t do this out without mentioning my favs The Body Shop. They have literally everything covered from skincare, body care, bath care, even candles! All the items are cruelty free and many of the items are vegan friendly.

TOP PICKS – Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Make Up Remover, Vitamin E sink in moisture sleeping mask,  Amazonian Acai Radiance Mask, Wild Argon Oil Hand Cream.

Whether you are just like me and looking to make more ethical choices or looking to do a complete 180 with your make up routine, I hope this helped some of you taking part in #Veganuary. If you would like to see how I am doing with Veganuary, I am posting updates over on my Instagram stories.
