Is there a better way to end the week than with a weekend pamper session? With the darker nights on their way and the cold seeping its way through the need to treat yourself. It got me thinking, what would my ideal pamper night would look like and it looks a little something like this.
A pamper session means feeling content and sitting in the moment. When my phone is around it can be hard to relax and just forget the online world so I would make a conscious effort to stay away from my phone. Either by keeping it away or turning it around so I cannot see the notifications.
A face mask
I love a good hydrating face mask. I honestly cannot explain how great my face feels after a deep charcoal mask followed by a hydration boost. It is exactly what its needs after a week of running around London. My current favourites are from Masque Bar and The Body Shop.
A Wholesome Sweet Treat
Sometimes I have those sweet cravings. Luckily for me (not my bank balance) I work near a whole foods so I can pick up some treats to satisfy that sweet tooth of mine. If I am feeling a bit more fancy there are some other places around which I am lucky enough do some great vegan treats for me to sink my teeth too.
I have spoken about this before in a previous post but I have reserved at least one evening where I can catch up on a little bit of Netflix without feeling guilty. There are some many great rom coms and comedies on there at the moment which is exactly the type of vibe I am looking for when it comes to a pamper evening. If you have been living under a rock, To all the boys I loved before and The kissing booth are with a watch. The also recently added Bad Moms to the catalogue too which I watched for the first time and found hilarious.
And there you have it, the perfect formula to my pamper session. I tend to keep this for evenings when I am on my own but you can totally do this with friends too.
Now, where is it 7pm yet?
