When it comes to skincare, we tend to talk about our face or our arms, very rarely do we talk about are our hands, in particular hand cream. Our hands are the one thing we neglect when it comes to self care.
If you do not know, I have suffered from dermatitis on my hands and while I have not had a flare up a while, it is something I am very cautious off. Hand creams have been my life saviour and needed something to help. It has been a while since I have updated you on some of my favourites so I thought I would give you a hand cream showdown if you will
It is no secret I am in love with the Garnier Ultimate Blends range and that extends to the Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Restore Hand Cream and The Ultimate Blends Marvellous Oil Hand Cream. I have to say it has been a while since I have loved a hand cream as much as Garnier hand cream range. Both of these smell incredible, absorbs well in to the skin and keeps my hands looking smooth and hydrated.
For something a little more on the treatment side of things is the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume*. As the name suggests, this is more of balm texture which is more silicone based rather than lotion like which is not my favourite however this is something which I would apply just before bed on summer evenings when dermatitis can flare up. It creates a layer protecting your skin from the sun.
Speaking of sun, I came across the Vichy Ideal Hand & Nail Cream with SPF 15. We forget that just like or faces and body our hands need SPF too. The Vichy Hand & Nail Cream is a good cream . I will not say it is my favourite but it is light, not too heavily fragranced and is a good budget hand cream.
Hand Cream is something I never thought I would see as a vital to my beauty routine but over the past seven years it has been a constant saviour and one handbag item I cannot live without.
