Zoeva Nude Spectrum

The February Face ft Sleek and Urban Decay

Rosie Huntington Make Up Zoeva Nude Spectrum Nafisah Atcha Eyeshadow Stick Swatch Another month is ending so I thought I would share my go to face for the February. As someone who has to apply their make in the early hours of the morning, I tend to gravitate towards similar products for weeks at a time. With that, here is the February Face.

My base is always the same. I talk about it in more detail in this post here but essentially, I apply the No 7 Radiance Primer before going in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation. Then to warm the face up, I go in with the NARS Laguna around the face.

Then to contour I keep in the same palette and use the shade Paloma to contour in the hollows of the cheeks. This is nearly coming to it’s end so I will have to stock up again soon.

To keep the radiance in my face I apply the first shade in my Zoeva nude Spectrum palette. I use this in place of a blush as it gives me a similar glow but keeps it subtle and less heavy looking. To finish the entire face off, I go in with the Urban Decay After Glow highlighter in the shade Sin. This is a champagne gold shade which is beautiful  on many skin tones.

The main difference from month to month in my make up look has to be the eyes and the lips. During the month of February I fell in love with the Rosie for Autograph Eyeshadow Stick in the shade Move Star Crush. It is this beautiful pink cool tone colour. I recently reviewed this on the blog and I have a feeling I will be wearing it for a long time. It is long lasting, comfortable to wear on the lids and literally does not budge. You can use it as a base for a powder shadow but this is handy to wear on it’s own if you are in a bit of a rut.

One of the most exciting products I discovered during the month of February was the YSL Faux Cills Mascara. I absolutely adore this mascara. It beautifully coats your lashes and gives you daytime voluminous thick lashes. I had this on my list to try for years and I am so mad at myself but not biting the bullet (It was a leaving a present from work) and I will definitely  be making a repurchase somewhere along the line.

To finish the look, I did my brows using the Benefit Cosmetics Ka Brow Pomade. This is actually going in the bin soon because it is on it’s last leg but it is one of my go to brows products.

I then went back with my favourite go to lip products. If you remember towards the end of the year, I went in with the Sleek Matte Me in the shade Velvet Slippers and then to get this shade I went with the Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip in the shade Lumiere 2 which is a pale pink shade. I just love how this combination looks on the lip and wore this pretty much every day throughout the month of February.

Phew! that was a bit of a run down but I absolutely loved creating the February face. Let me know what products you have been using consistently during the month of February.

I love Color pop’s matte lipsticks, the colors are great and it is not so drying like many others.
