You know when you find a bargain that is so good and you need to shout about it? That is exactly how I feel about the Aldi Candle I found a couple of weeks ago. I dedicated a section of it in my last video and had to tell you all about it here.
The first thing I thought when I came across this candle on the interweb was how stunning the candle look. It has a Jo Malone esque vibe to it which I love. There were three scents to choose one and the one I opted for was No1, Lime, Basil, and Mandarin.
I love fresh scents, even in the bedroom with a hidden bout of spice so this is the perfect combination. The lime and basil give you the freshness while the mandarin provides you with a nice hint of spice which is not overpowering.
If you like a fresh autumn scent this is the one to try. I personally light it in my bedroom but I think it is would go quite nicely in the front room or the kitchen as it is a very inoffensive scent.
After lighting this up a couple of times, I am very impressed with how this burns. It is a two-wick candle which makes it easier for the candle to burn evenly. It scents the room up nicely and while I cannot comment on how fast it burns, I can say it doesn’t burn particularly fast compared to other candles I have had which means I know it will last at least a couple of months.
The candle also comes in another two scents. One of them is a pomegranate one which is a lot more potent and is more along the lines of a woody deeper scent. I was debating on this one but I am happy with the Lime, Basil and Mandarin candle.
For £3.99, this is a nice addition to my candle collection and one I know I will be repurchasing.
