Estee Lauder Estee lauder pure love Estee Lauder lipstick swatch Estee Lauder is a brand I have not yet ventured too much in too. I am in love with their perfume but aside from their little black eye liner I had yet to try much out from the brand, that was until I came across the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks*

The Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks* comes in a variety of finishes including Matte, Creme, Pearl and Chrome. Personally I am always going to be drawn to the matte finishes from the line however out of the two I have to share with you one is a pearl finish.

Proven Innocent is a stunning pinky peach matte shade. I love how evenly it applied on the lips. A lot of times, the pastel shades can sometimes apply slightly patchy, however, I did not see that with Proven Innocent. It applied without tugging on the lips  and is incredibly pigmented. I will admit it is not my favourite shade from the range – I have my eye on some of the darker ones in the collection but it is a comfortable summer friendly matte. I have yet to test out the full longevity of the lipstick but I do not mind reapplying lipstick so it is not something I generally focus on when it comes to lipstick.

Ripped Raisin is a more berry toned shade with a slight gold shimmer to it to give it the pearl effect. Again it applied conformably on the lips and while it gives a shine to the lips it is not overly glossy so it is a good compromise between a gloss and lipstick. It has been a while since I have tried a shine or pearl lipstick and I have to say I was impressed. The longevity of the pearl lipstick is dependant on how much you eat and drink, however  this is something that does not bother me.

If you are looking for something to try from Estee Lauder, at £19.00 the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks are a great way to dip your toes in to the brand without being too pricey.

Have you tried the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks*? I have my eye on the Rebel Glam, Love Object and Up Beet next.
