Life after graduation Life after graduation Life after graduation ‘What do you eat?’ ‘what do you snack on’ Are some of the most prominent questions I get asked when I tell people I eat predominantly plant based. So I thought I would some of my favourite vegan treats to snack on.

Livias Kitchen Millionaire Bites

I have spoken about these small bites of delights for the longest time but I do go back to them time and time again. There is just something magical about the combination of the sweet caramel and the dark They are quite sweet so if you have a sweet tooth they are for you.

Deliciously Ella Brownie

I can never visit The Mae Deli which is just off Bond Street without picking up the peanut butter brownie to go. Enough said.

The Raw Chocolate Company

Vegan chocolate can be expensive. (It does not have to be – thank goodness for Aldi and Lidl) but one of my favourite chocolate brands is The Raw Chocolate Company. Each bar is creamy, sweet but not too sweet and melts perfectly with a cup of tea. My favourite flavours are the vanoffee and salted hazelnut.

Crosstown Doughnuts

Doughnuts are not something I treat myself too everyday. In fact I tend to only have them every few months so when I do have one I make sure it god damn good. One of the first things I did when I moved to London is try a Crosstown vegan doughnut and my mind was blown.

Vego Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

There is something about the combination of chocolate and hazelnut which makes me melt. The brand veto recently came out with a chocolate spread to go along with their famous bars and my god this on toast is the best way to start any day.

Candy Kittens Sweets

The amount of sweets which contain unsuitable e numbers or gelatine is unbelievable so it was nice to see Candy Kittens opt to make their range predominately vegan. They have become a cinema staple along with a tango iceblast.

Crumpets

There was a time I was obsessed about crumpets. I would have them laden with jam everyday for breakfast which lets be honest is not the best way to start your day. They are however an amazing evening or 3pm snack with a cup of tea. You do have to read the packets as some supermarket own brands do content milk.  I recently discovered the Asda wholemeal version which changed the game for me.

These are definitely some of my go to treats when I want a little treat or snack but it is worth knowing there are more treats out there for you to explore. For example Oreo’s and Starbursts are both vegan and a lot of suitable for vegetarian snacks are suitable for vegans, you just need to read the labels.

If you are looking for snacks, I would highly recommend following the accidentally vegan UK Instagram. I also subscribed to Sourcebox which was really helpful in helping me realise the snacks I enjoyed and the ones to avoid without breaking the bank.
