Review | Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Moisturiser

IMG_8067 Vichy When it comes to moisturisers I am very fussy. The formula has to be right. I prefer gel formulas however, my dehydrated skin need something more substantial which is where the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Moisturiser.

The Vichy Aquaria Thermal Light Moisturiser is formulated for dry and dehydrated skin. It contains both Thermal Spa Water (something Vichy is known for) and Hylaronic Acid for long lasting hydrating on the skin. Vichy claims the moisturiser lasts for 48 hours which I have not tested but I have worn this overnight and I can feel how soft and hydrated my face in the morning.

After a few weeks of trying this, I have to say this is one of my top three moisturisers.  When I first saw this I was unsure as it looks like a moisturiser which is very heavy and greasy, however it could not be more of the opposite. It felt light on the skin and absorbed well and quickly in to the face.

At the end of a cold winter day this is absolute delight to apply at the end of my skincare routine. My Face feels nourished, soft and hydrated. It does say it is a day cream, however I use this in the evenings and it works perfectly for dehydrated skin.

Something to note with the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Moisturiser is that it does not have a strong fragrance. I have a pet peeve when it comes to highly fragrant moisturisers. This jar of delight just smells fresh which means if you are sensitive to fragrance this is perfect for you.

Vichy just does it for me when it comes to helping dehydrated skin. I pair the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Moisturiser with the matching serum and both have become the ultimate dream team in my skincare routine.

Which moisturiser are you loving?

Wow, it sounds really good! My skin has turned so dry and dehydrated since I moved to Austria..I used to wear the Clinique’s Moisturizer (you know, the big yellow one?) but like you, I prefer the gel formulas and that isn’t enough anymore..

Sounds like a great moisturizer esp when you wake up and your skin feels soft and moisturized plus light to no scent that is a plus! :)
