It has been a while I have tried something new from Max Factor so on a recent trip to Boots, I decided to see what was new and stumbled across the new Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette and picked up the shade cappuccino nude.
I love a good eye palette and the Max Factor offering is the perfect for neutral eye shadow fans. Covergirl is the American equivalent to Max Factor so I had herd a lot of good feedback on their counterparts and expected good things from this little bundle.
The Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette has eight shades in total with a mixture of mattes and shimmer which means you can use one palette to create a stunning look.
Formula wise is where the palette fell short for me slightly. The pigmentation is good for the price, you get a good colour pay off however the shades need to be work in to the lids a little bit more than it’s higher end counter parts. This is one palette you need a blending brush to work with.
There is some fall out when you use these shadows which can be a bit infuriating as the pans are quite small. The fall out does not reach the eyes and stays in the pan but it is something to be aware off when you are thinking about trying this out.
Over all, though I have to say the Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Palette is a great eye shadow palette from the drugstore. The colours are fabulous (My personal favourite is the champagne gold shade) and if you are an eye shadow fiend this will make a nice addition to your collection.
