Club Hopper is this stunning deep brown shade. This is a brown which I think is hard to replicate. It borders on the line of vampy but style correctly can actually be a lip shade anyone can wear. Personally, I actually wear it during the day and find it works well with a low key outfit and minimal makeup.
It is a traditional lip liner which is extra matte. I found this meant the formula can make it hard to initially apply on the lips. It tugs slightly on the lips which means you cannot apply this in a rush and have to be precise when applying it. However, the pigmentation is incredible and it stays all on all day which means to me it is worth taking that time to apply it in the morning.
Do not let the word ‘matte’ put you off. If you like traditional lip liners you will like this. The matte effect is not too drying and does not cling to dry patches on the lips which I love. It has a velvet matter feel to me personally.
The best way I can describe the formula is the perfect go between the traditional NYX Lip Liners and the NYX Cosmetics Slide on Lip Pencils. It has the pigmentation of the Slide on Lip Liners but the longevity of the traditional lip liners.
I have the matching liquid suede which goes with this and it creates a nice shade on the lips which you can see in the picture above. It layers well compared to other lip liners with other lip products.
