Nudestix is a brand I have been intrigued by for a long time so when I found their stand at BeautyCon, I knew it was now or never. They were giving everyone one of their Magnetic Matte Lip Colours and I opted for the shade Greystone.
Let me get this out of the way, spoiler alert, I LOVE it. Greystone has not left my lips since I first applied it. First thing to note is that Greystone is as the name would suggest a grey tone brown, however unlike some of the other shades in my collection this is quite wearable. I like it as it is a shade I can wear to work when I want to rock a bold lip but may have a meeting and did not want to make too much of a statement.
Now on to the nitty gritty. It applies like a dream. When you apply it, you are instantly met with incredibly rich pigment. It glides on the lips almost gloss like before drying matte. This part of the formula is something which makes it stand out to others on the market as it means your lips stay plumped after application.
You can get in to the nooks and cranny of the lips without needing to be too precise and careful, making it great to carry on the go. If you are busy, rushing around, this is a easy no fuss product you can apply on the go without making a mess.
As you wear it throughout the day, it can become a little bit drying. Something that does not bother me too much personally. What I will say is that four hours or so in, it can start to crumble slightly, however the product is so beautiful and easy to reapply, it really doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
At £24.00 it is not the cheapest lip crayon on the market but one that is worth every penny. I started wearing this a couple of weeks ago and it has become the only lip product I have placed on lips since. Dare I say it has taken the place of my once beloved NARS Velvet matte lip pencils and I now want every shade from the collection.
I cannot believe I was sceptical about trying the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip Colour. They had a special offer for the complete set at BeautyCon which I wish I had taken advantage off.
Have you tried any of the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip Colours? which one should I try next?
