If you caught this week’s video, you will know I am a huge lover of highlight. From the shimmer to the subtle, I am all about the highlight life. Laura Gellar is known for her Gelato Swirls Illuminators, so I was excited to come across the Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminating Palette.
The Laura Gellar Gelato Swirl Illuminating Palette combines all three of the Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators in one handy palette. The three stunning shares are Peach Glow, Gilded Honey and Ballerina.
Peach Glow, as the name suggests, is a Peach shade and is the shade from the palette, I would not use asa highlighter but rather, I use this as more of a blush to have some glow on the cheeks. It adds a bit of something something without being glittering and over powering shimmery.
Gilded Honey is my go to shade from the palette. This is a true gold shade and is perfect on olive skin tones. This looks a bar of gold and works amazingly on the skin. It is my go for work at the moment. It is not on the subtle side but that is why I love it. If you love a highlighter this is one shade that will have you swooning.
Ballerina is more deeper gold shade which will look fabulous on deeper skin tones. I love this when I do not have a lot going on with the rest of my make up and if I want to change it up from Gilded Honey. Again it literally feels like butter on the skin. It blends in beautifully on to the skin and leaves your skin a wonderful sun kissed bronze goddess glow to the cheeks.
The Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminating Palette is exclusive to Beauty Bay and retails for £22. The one downsize is that each shades are mini versions of the full size but it is a great way to try all three shades if you are a make up junkie like me.
You can get a full size of each shade separately for £21 if only one of the shades tickle your fancy. If like me, you have been eyeing up the Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators, you will not be disappointed.
Have you tried the Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminating Palette? let me know what you think.
