The Kylie Cosmetics Haul

kylie-cosmetics Kyshadow Swatches Kylie Lip Kits True Brown K Swatch Kyshadow Burgundy Palette True Brown K After avoiding all the hype surrounding Kylie Cosmetics, I finally caved. On a recent trip to Scotland to visit the Girls Day Out Show, I came across Authentic Kylie Cosmetic products and that was that, an inventible Kylie Cosmetics Haul took place.

The things that caught my eye was of course the famous lip kits. There were a range to choose from but as I had herd mixed review of the lip kits, and had yet to try them out for myself, I decided to opt for True Brown K and Kourt K. True Brown K is the one I am wearing today and is a brown shade with a slight red undertone to it.

Kourt K on the other hand is a deep purple shade. I tend to gravitate towards both shades so was excited to give them both a go.

After deciding on which kit to try first, I went in with True Brown K. On first Impressions, I have to say I am in love with the lip liner which comes in the kit. It is rich in colour, glides on well to the lips. The actual liquid lipstick on the other hand, while it is a good liquid lipstick is not the best I have come across and if you are in the UK unless there was a unique colour you wanted from the range, I would personally save on the custom charge that comes with the kits.

While I was at the stand the next thing which caught my was the Kyshadow Palettes. After hearing a lot about the new Burgundy Palette, I could not help but fall in love with the shadows and decided to pick it up.

I was intrigued to see how the palette would fair in comparison to some of my old favourites and I have to say this did not disappoint. I applied the light brown shade on the lids for depth on the lids and then the gold shimmer shade on the top left hand corner of the palette.

Both shades I used to create this look were impressive. The matte shade was a stunning matte brown and applied evenly on the lids. There was no chalky residue that some matte shades can elude too and it blended well on the lids.

The gold shimmer shade was equally as pigmented and worked well on the skin. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the shadows and cannot wait to play around with it some more.

Have you made a Kylie Cosmetics Haul? What should I try next?
