If social media hasn’t made you aware, the icy winds and cold air is here which for someone who has dehydrated skin means I amp up the hydration even more so than usual to help keep my skin from becoming dry and flaky. I surrounding myself with what a bunch of skincare products I like to call the January Warmers.
B Beauty B Beautiful Day Cream
The wind has taken a turn for the worse and it literally feels like ice is touching the face. When that happens, it calls for a special moisturiser. One which is hydrating, nourishing, moisturising and comforting on the skin and the B Beauty Beautiful Day Cream does this and more. Whenever I come back from a long day in the cold, applying this moisturiser generally feels like a treat for my face. I spoke about it last week but it deserves a special mention as it has become a winter stable.
Origins GinZing Eye Cream
I fell in love with this eye cream three years ago and have yet to find one I love as much as I love this one. The origins GinZing Eye Cream is the only under eye cream, I have had the fortune to try where I notice a difference within a matter of weeks. It lifts up your skin, making you more awake, alert and also tackles any fatigue and puffiness that may arise from lack of sleep. I have dehydration lines under my eyes and the origins GinZing eye cream helps to tackle this.
The BodyShop Amazonian Acai Mask
With the lack of natural hydration on the skin during the colder months your skin can become dull to prevent that from happening I stock up on hydrating and radiance masks. One of the ones I am using is The BodyShop Amazonian Acai Mask. It looks like jam when you put it on your face but it leaves you feeling hydrated and fresh.
It Cookies and Cream Hand Cream in Mint
I use hand creams all year around but especially during the winter period. (proof, I am currently surrounded by three different hand creams) Towards the end of 2017, I came across the It Cookies and Cream Hand Cream in Mint , thanks to Suzie and I have to say it is the most delicious smelling hand cream. On first impressions it is one I will be keeping at my desk or bedside table as a special addition to my evening routine.
How are you keeping your skin warm and nourished this January.
