I have to admit I am very good at streamlining my make up when I need too. Do not get me wrong I have a good collection and the pieces in it are incredibly special to me which is why I am careful with the products I travel with or carry around with me. I am so terrified of loosing them which got me thinking about what I would do if my make up bag disappeared and the items which would have me racing down to Boots and Selfridges.
The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation
You all know my love for this foundation. Not only is this the most budget friendly foundation I have come across, it is just blooming good. I have gone through two bottles of this and do not plan to change it up any time soon. If you have yellow undertones and are looking for something which is lightweight but has good coverage this is the one for you. I did a whole review on it here and if it possible I am more in love with it now than I was when this post went live.
Tanya Burr Illuminating Powder
I do not know how it does it but the Tanya Burr Highlighter manages to give the glow without looking like a glitter ball and look absolutely on point in pictures too. I can always tell when I am wearing this in pictures as there is just a nice glassy glow on the cheeks which I do not get with any other highlighter. I have other highlighters in my collection (they are my vice) which I love but there would definitely be a missing void is this disappeared from my make up bag one day.
Kiko Creamy Colour Lip Liner
There is something about how smoothly the Kiko lip liners apply. I find some drugstore pencils hard to work with but the formula is long lasting, glides easily on the lip and is incredibly pigmented. The colour range within the collection is small but I need them all.
Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
Benefit just get brows don’t they?! I mean all of the brow products I have tried from them have been on point. The Goof Proof Brow Pencil is my favourite as it really makes an impact on your brows and in turn can really change your face. I will have to say, while I would like to repurchase this, Benefit are not a cruelty free brand, which is a shame but there are some great cruelty free alternatives such as the Hourglass brow pencil which I will be looking into next.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick
I love a good liquid lipstick and this one is up there in my top five. The shoe exorcism is one which is unique in my collection. I wear it regularly either on it’s own or with a pale pink shade on top to provide a lighter pink effect on the lips. It is not often I actually finish a lip product but if this went missing or finished I would be lost without it.
Have you tried any of the above? and which products would you replace if your make up bag disappeared?
