Too face Hangover Primer Perrie Edwards Make up look Finally, after what feels like months summer is here and I for one, want to make the most out of it which is why I an bringing out these Five summer beauty hacks so we can make the most out of the sun.

Wear a Primer

I will admit there will be times where I will skip a primer – not because they do not work but because I am lazy. In the summer wearing a primer really does make a difference. On long days primers not only keep the foundation on my skin but also adds a boost of hydration to the skin.  You can apply it and skip foundation as it will help the bronzer and other powders sit on the face. A personal favourite of mine is the Too Faced Hangover X Primer.

The shimmer bronzer

Now before you all start thinking arm Nafisah, you are loosing it, here me out. I am not talking about full on glitter or shimmer at all. I am talking about a predominantly matte bronzer with a hint of shimmer. I would never contour with this but I apply this over the face to give a bit more of a healthy dimension to the skin.

Skip the eyeliner

Sometimes in the sun eyeliner can be a bit harsh – especially on me which is why I often give it a miss in the warmer months in particular. I do still wear it occasionally as I can miss it but there is something fresh about the face when you give it a miss.

Grab a hair oil

Even under a headscarf hair can become dry which is why I will be stocking up on hair oil. My favourites are the leave in conditioners  as it means you do not have to worry about your hair becoming greasy which is not what you want during the heat. I am currently trying out the Alchemy Hair Oil which so far is a good un’.

What are your summer hacks? let me know!

Great summer hacks! Primer really does make a difference. Love how your foundation glides on using it. The bronzer is a must…makes such a huge difference in your look. Fabulous tips!
