Mascara is a beauty item I use to stay away from, however it has now become a staple product in my make up collection. Mascaras also happen to be the make up item I switch up the most and willing to try from a variety of brands. As I have tried a few recently, I thought I would share five mascaras you need in your collection.
YSL Faux Cils Mascara
I have a love hate relationship with this mascara. I adore it, it applies like a dream and makes my lashes look full and luscious. The hate comes in to it because it dries up incredibly quickly and at £25.00 they are not the cheapest mascaras to replace.
Tanya Burr Selfie Story Mascara
I have spoken about the Tanya Burr Selfie Story Mascara recently as it is one of the mascaras I currently have on rotation. This is a perfect natural mascara. It gives your lashes a lift and adds a little bit of thickness giving you a clean look. I adore the formulation as it is not too wet but not dry either meaning there are no clumps. Normally, I usually prefer a mascara which gives my lashes a little more drama but there is something about the Selfie mascara which I cannot put down.
Primark Volume Effect Mascara
When I tried this, I wasn’t sure what to expect but any mascara which has the word volume in it has me intrigued. For £2.50 it does the job. It is not the worse mascara I have tried and it was not the best mascara in my collection either. One for if you are interested in tying out Primark make up or on a little bit of a budget.
Code FFL Forget False Lashes
The Code FFL is not really a mascara but more of a lash primer. Usually I am a bit sceptical of these kind of products as I am not sure they always work, however I can tell you 100% this one does. You apply it before your mascara and it adds a false lash effect to your eyes. If you have small lashes or just want to go all out this is a game changer.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara
Quite possibly my first love. I adore the way you can really create a dramatic yet daytime appropriate eye look with Benefit’s They’re Real. The formula much like the Tanya Burr Selfie Mascara is spot on. I previously mentioned I do not tend to repurchase mascara but this is one I have used multiple tubes off.
Mascaras a one of the more personal products in the make up world as everyone has particular tastes but if you looking for a good fuss free mascara I would highly recommend the above.
