Festive lips Tanya Burr lips Winter lipsticks Tanya burr swatches You all know my love of Tanya Burr Cosmetics and Matte Liquid Lipsticks so when I discovered her Christmas line included this stunning matte lip duo I knew I had to give them a go.

The duo includes includes two shades, a bright festive red and a stunning deep winter purple shade. Santa’s little helper is a stunning orange based red lip which is perfect for a special evening during the festive season. I will admit, this is not a a shade I personally find flattering for my skin tone but it is a beautiful shade and works well with a slightly deeper lip liner underneath.

Blackberry Fudge is the reason I needed the duo and it did not disappoint. It is a deep purple shade which can be applied to create a nice shade or layered up to create a full beautiful deep vampy lip. You do need to apply a couple of layers in order to create an even lip but it works beautifully with a nice lip liner underneath.

The words lip cream meant I was not sure how matte they would be but I was pleasantly surprised on how matte they applied on the lips. They dried almost instantly and were some of the hardest lipsticks to remove both of which I loved.

I will say if you do not use a lip liner, it will not fade evenly throughout the day. I trailed this without a lipliner and then went to eat a snack where I found it faded from the inside of my lips and was a little uneven.

Overall, I was impressed with the duo. It was a great way to create a festive lip with Tanya Burr. It usually retails for £9.00 but you can find it on offer for £7:00 on Superdrug right now.
