Desert Island Beauty Picks | Cruelty Free Edition

desert island picks Cruelty free beauty I don’t purchase beauty products half as much as I did but I still enjoy them. I am just being conscious about when I purchase them and what it is in them, which is why I wanted to take it back to me sharing with you my desert island beauty picks, cruelty-free edition.

Vitamin E Intensive Body Cream

This big tube of creamy goodness is literally under £5.00 and is a lifesaver for skin like me. I adore using this after the shower. Normally, I do not normally notice such a big difference to my skin after using a body cream and cheesy as it sounds, it really works.

Zoeva Eye Shadow Palettes

Zoeva is 100% cruelty-free and they also have plenty of vegan products. Their eyeshadow are some of my favourites. I have been a long term fan of their eyeshadow palettes. They are good quality, highly pigmented and are at a good price point. I always recommend them when people ask me which eyeshadows to invest in. Each palette is around £20 depending on where you get it and they rival my higher end eyeshadow brands.

Oat and Coconut Hand Cream

It is no secret I run through hand cream just as quickly as toilet paper so while there are many vegan-friendly hand creams out there, the price point is higher than expected. I tried one which was doable but not as effective as I would like. I was residing myself to the fact, I would need to invest in my hand creams from now on. That was until Superdrug released their new, Oat and Coconut hand cream which works wonders. It can take a bit longer than I would like to sink in but it is very intense and works a treat on the hands.

The Body Shop Face Masks

Fun fact, I am not someone who does weekly facemasks. I probably should but it is just not one of the ways in which I relax so when I do it, it usually when my skin needs it. Masks can be pricey but thankfully, the Body Shop has a range of face masks to suit every skin need from detoxifying face masks to hydrating brightening ones. They are slightly mid range on the scale of masks but all the ingredients are clear, you know exactly what you are looking for. Walking into a Body Shop and just soaking in the atmosphere is just an added bonus.

NYX Brow Pomade

I am always on the hunt for new brow products. Luckily, I stumbled across the NYX brow pomade which has been steering me well for a while now. It is easy to use, easy to work with and also doesn’t dry up too easily.

Have you tried any of the above? Let me know your desert island picks!
