Cruelty Free Beauty

Accidentally Cruelty Free

Cruelty Free Beauty Going cruelty-free in your beauty and skincare regime does not mean having to start afresh. Often you will find some of the products you have in your collection will already be cruelty-free. In doing some research into the products I already had in my stash, there were some products and brands which were already cruelty-free which means I could use them guilt free and also not worry about having to replace them with a cruelty-free alternative. Here are some of the accidentally cruelty-free products I discovered. Some of which may surprise you.

Pixi Glow Tonic

So this one is kind of cheating because I sort of knew there would a chance this would be cruelty-free but needless to say I was happy to confirm my suspicions were correct. The Pixi Glow tonic is the only chemical exfoliant I will ever place near my skin for good reason. It works and I see the effects in the texture and brightness of my face almost instantly so I am glad I do not have to seek out an alternative.

Skyn Iceland Eye Masks

The first eye masks I discovered which actually made a difference were the Skyn Iceland Cool Firming Eye Gels and thank the lord the entire brand is cruelty-free. I haven’t tried a lot from the brand I will admit but I love the vibe they have and the eye masks are ones I would regularly go too. (Great for long flights and dehydration lines)

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks

I was worried about having to find an alternative to my favourite liquid lipsticks and there was a time when Stila was not cruelty-free. Luckily, as far as I am aware that is no longer the case and I can repurchase my favourite lip products without an inch of guilt.

Make up revolution highlight trio

Makeup Revolution gets a lot of flack online but one of the things they do which I love is creating products which are clearly labelled not only cruelty-free but also vegan at a very affordable price. I am a huge of the highlighting palette in Beyond Radiance so was happy to see not only is it vegan but also currently half price. I have had mine for years and while it is still going strong I imagine it will need replacing soon. The texture of the powders is easily one of my favourites for such a price point and it remains in one of my top five highlighter recommendations whenever anyone asks me what to purchase. This one, in particular, works well if you have an olive or deep complexion.

If you are looking for more cruelty-free beauty inspiration, please note, I will do reviews here and there but I have a one in and out policy so bare with me. In the meantime, I will be sharing some of my favourite accounts over on my Instagram page.
